The Last Stand is the core home and dedicated display solution where the Ultimatrix lives. More than just a support stand, it is a structure to marvel over—designed to look like something Ben Tennyson might have actually built inside his own workshop.
This original display stand was born from a design language created to be as radically different from existing things as possible. The process started in Maya for 3D modeling, followed by detailed sculpting in ZBrush, and meticulous fine-tuning to ensure the geometry is water-tight for maximum print quality.
Constructed using a combination of high-quality materials to balance durability with presentation, deliberate choices were made behind the scenes:
Upper Assembly: Produced in Smoky Black Water-Washable Resin, giving it a subtle translucent appearance that resembles smoked glass when illuminated.
The Base: Printed separately in Black PETG filament at slower print speeds to maximize detail, strength, and surface quality.
